The European Consumer Workgroup for Information on Cosmetics is a non-profit organization of volunteers (started in Dublin, Ireland, but now in many European countries) with professional knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and website programming. All claims on all ingredients are backed by scientific data in our possession. We try to keep our statements in line with the most recent data. If you would have scientific evidence that could make it necessary to adopt one or more of our statements, please sent this evidence to the email address above. We will carefully review it, and if necessary, we will adapt our judgments a.s.a.p.
Please note that this website depends on volunteers like you. We also need your effort in order to keep the database up-to-date. Some products on this website can show differences with more recent versions of the same product. If you find such differences please do the effort to give in the ingredients of the more recent product and sent us a mail so that we can remove the older version.
